Paul has worked at some great courses in the UK including Ross On Wye Golf Club and Essendon Country Club. He enjoys beginner and junior coaching with the view that being able to progress a beginner through to a confident golfer is something he takes pride in. His approach to coaching is to make everything as simple as possible.

Having moved over to Singapore from London with his wife, Paul has been here for nearly 3 years and since making the move to NSRCC, he thoroughly enjoys being associated with the club and the facilities it provides.

“Nothing beats practicing on grass when you can,

indoor facilities are great but being outdoors is where you want to be.”

Paul is always learning and working on new skills to add to his own game as well as those of his students. He has been focusing on the short game and in particular chipping and pitching.

!If you see him practicing, feel free to have a chat with him!

Tommy Tan

  • Member of the Singapore PGA

  • Joined the Singapore golfing association at the age of 13

  • Former Singapore national team player

  • Competed in several international tournaments

Tommy enjoys coaching and he is confident in sharing his knowledge and experiences with aspiring juniors. He believes he is able to help his students by sharing his experiences after having competed in several high levels in golf. He also trained in Thailand for a year, at the age of 14 which gave him the opportunity to play alongside the top players in Thailand and the top player on Asian tour at that point of time, Baek Seuk Hyun as well. This has benefitted him in many ways and would like to pass down the knowledge and experiences he has learnt along the way.

I" believe that the mental aspect in golf is equally as important. Having the chance to train in Australia with several mental coaches also helped my game tremendously which will benefit my students too."
